NZ Barok with cellist James Bush
Baroque cellist James Bush joins NZ Barok for a trip through the magical world of Venetian baroque music.
This programme tells the story of the church of San Marco in Venice, one of the great creative hubs in the musical history of Europe. Composers featuring in this journey of musical heritage include Antonio Vivaldi, Antonio Caldara, Giovanni Platti, Giovanni Legrenzi and Claudio Monteverdi.
NZ Barok’s musicians are leading baroque specialists and perform using instruments and playing styles of the 18th century.
