Flava Announce New Breakfast Show

16 November 2018 – Flava announced today Darryl-Mathew Suasua and Astley Nathan, better known as Daz and Ast, will be the new hosts of Flava’s Wake Up Call.

The pair have hosted the Flava Drive show together for the last two years and their shows are a laugh a minute with great yarns, daring challenges, eye popping videos and of course the best beats.

Ast says they are looking forward to the new challenge. “We are so excited to be the new hosts of Flava Breakfast and while we’re not that keen on the new time the alarm will be going off, we know it will be a blast getting ready in the morning with our listeners.”

Listeners can expect a lot more mayhem in the AM – a show that’s just like having a couple of mates over, says Daz. “We’ve been working together for a while now so we really know how to play off each other, and which buttons to push to give the other one a bit of a wind up!”

Athena Angelou, the current Day host will move into Drive, on the pulse of what’s poppin’ and what’s not. Athena’s infectious personality will be complimented by award winning deejay and Hip-Hop guru Dj Manchoo – so expect the best beats to keep you moving for the drive home.

Tune in to Daz and Ast from 6am and Athena and Dj Manchoo from 3pm from 3 December on Flava, or stream on iHeartRadio.
