John Farnham: New Show Added in Wellington

JOHN FARNHAM
New Show Added at Wellington's Michael Fowler Center

Due to popular demand, the legend, the voice, Whispering Jack himself has added a second New Zealand headline show at The Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington next March. Performing works from his extensive catalogue including all the hits you know and love, Mr John Farnham is looking forward to entertaining his kiwi fans and recent shows have proven that he remains one of the most impressive singers of our generation:

“Forty-eight years after his professional debut – John Farnham’s voice was still staggeringly spectacular.” Sydney Morning Herald.

John Farnham has been celebrated widely for more than just his contribution to music. In 1996 he was made ‘An Officer of the Order Of Australia”, and in 1987 named ‘Australian Of The Year’ then in 2003 John was officially inducted into the “Australian Music Hall Of Fame.”

Over an extraordinary 50 year career Farnham is one of the most accomplished and highest-selling artists in Australasia. The album Whispering Jack has gone a massive 24 x platinum in Australia alone! His ability to light up the hearts of his audience has never waned and his sheer love of being onstage is apparent at every concert.

Two Strong Hearts, Pressure Down, A Touch Of Paradise, Burn For You, Age Of Reason, You're The Voice and so much more.... and lucky for fans the show does not stop there.

John Farnham will also perform one show at Villa Maria Estate Winery. For this show only he will be joined in a very rare appearance by New Zealand favourites Opshop and young virtuoso's The Miltones. Tickets for this show are on sale now through Ticketmaster!

John Farnham will also appear live ahead of Eagles concert at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on Saturday 2 March for one massive outdoor show. Tickets for this show are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Tickets for the Wellington concert at Michael Fowler Centre will go on sale on Monday 3 December through Ticketmaster.
