Sky Tower Turns 25 And You’re Invited!

The Sky Tower is turning 25 and we are inviting everyone to celebrate with us.

Throughout the month of August, we will have a range of activations and celebrations to mark 25 years of the Sky Tower being an iconic symbol of Auckland and New Zealand.

From $19.97 (the year the Sky Tower was built) tickets to a historical photo exhibition and entertainment for the kids, we have something for everyone to enjoy.

Daily in August

25 years on, we celebrate quarter of a century by dropping our ticket price to $19.97. This will be for online bookings only during August.

Light the Sky Tower

4, 5 and 6 August from 6pm - 9pm

For the second time in history, we are inviting the public to light the Sky Tower in a colour of their choice! Visit the base of the Sky Tower on the 4th, 5th or 6th of August between 6 and 9pm. There will be entertainment, visits from Scotty Sky Tower, face painters, food trucks, More FM DJs and plenty of prizes to be won. Test out your skills at the All Blacks Experience passing cage. Plus, keep a lookout for a mysterious creature that has broken out of Wētā Workshop Unleashed!

You heard right! You and your friends and family can light the iconic Sky Tower!

Sky Tower light options: Pink, Blue, Orange, Green, Red, Purple, Gold, Pastel Party, More FM Moment, and Sky Tower Surprise!

A mini art gallery will be installed in the Main Observation Deck of the Sky Tower for customers to enjoy in August.

Magic Shows AND Scotty Sky Tower

Weekends in August

Every weekend in August we will have a series of fun entertainment in the Sky Tower including Bubble Girl, magic shows in the Tower Theatre and Scotty Sky Tower roaming throughout the Sky Tower.

Magic shows will run every Saturday and Sunday in August at: 11am | 12.30pm | 2pm

The Sugar Club

Wednesday to Sunday evenings in August

Celebrate in style with $25 Celebratory Champagne cocktails in our elegant bar overlooking the beautiful twinkling Auckland cityscape.

Sky Café

Monday to Friday in August from 2pm - 5pm

Sky Café will have $2.50 coffees and $2.50 ice-creams between 2pm to 5pm (excludes weekends) in August
