MY BABY Unveil New Single 'Echo' The Title Track Taken From Their Upcoming Album

Following the release of their powerful single "Ain’t No Turnin’ Back" in February this year — introduced with the phrase "The past is a great darkness and filled with echoes" — MY BABY now return with "Echo," the evocative title track from their forthcoming album.

In "Echo," MY BABY breathe new life into the ancient Roman myth of Echo and Narcissus, telling the story not through the eyes of Narcissus, but finally from Echo’s perspective. The result is a hypnotic exploration of shadows and reverberations, of words lost and returned, and of a love that could never be reciprocated.

True to their signature style, MY BABY blend their irresistible groove and raw live energy with a lush studio sound, drawing on the soulful textures of seventies-era production. The song marks an exciting new chapter for the band as they, together with acclaimed producer and mixer Martijn Groeneveld, complete work on their new studio album — set for release later this year.
