Lorde’s global critically acclaimed fourth studio album Virgin (out now via EMI Music Australia, here / Universal Music New Zealand, here) has just made her triumphant return to #1 on the Aotearoa Music Charts (NZ), ARIA Albums Chart (AU), the Official Albums Chart (UK) and #2 on the Billboard 200 (US). Co-produced by Lorde, Jim-E Stack and Dan Nigro, Virgin represents a bold sonic evolution that balances maximalist production with her signature lyrical intimacy across 11 tracks, capturing the phosphorescence that has always defined her artistry. Virgin features ‘What Was That’, ‘Man Of The Year’, ‘Hammer’, ‘Favourite Daughter’ and ‘Shapeshifter’.
“...introspection and euphoria in strikingly theatrical show...the New Zealand star just about manages to unite the disparate tones of her song catalogue in a rousing and elegant live show” - The Guardian
“Solar Power with its anthemic, chanted chorus fairly blows the roof off the arena; Green Light absolutely bangs; and the encore, Royals becomes a shared fever dream, taking us out on an all-time high.” - Stuff NZ
“...wrapped up her Solar Power world tour with an emotional and spectacular performance under the stars...Lorde’s vocals were absolute perfection, clear and crisp, cutting through the air and echoing out into the intimate space.” - The West Australian
Embarking on her biggest tour to date, the Ultrasound World Tour will kick off on September 17 in Austin (TX) and has already sold-out multiple nights at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden (NYC), O2 Arena (London), AFAS Live (Amsterdam) and Barclays Center (Brooklyn, NY).
