RDU98.5FM Presents ULTRASONIC III

It’s late 1995 – A peak time for electronic music in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Ultrasonic 1 & 2 have just taken place at the derelict West End Picture Theatre. The vintage cinema saw 1,000s of ravers descend upon Cathedral Square for a legendary night of sonic mayhem.

Thirty years after the originals, Ultrasonic 3 returns to commemorate and celebrate rave culture in Ōtautahi. The third installment will revive the genres, visual style, and sonic energy of the original movement.

Taking place on Saturday 20th September at the Sydenham Underpass, Ultrasonic 3 will unite 30 years of raving history under one roof. Boasting 4 unique zones, an all-star lineup of 30 deejays, and a capacity to both rival and surpass the originals.
