New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) and Duco Events have today announced the renewal of their multi-year media partnership for the Hot Spring Spas T20 Black Clash in association with Wolfbrook - continuing a popular collaboration connecting Kiwis with one of the country’s most entertaining sporting events.

Returning to Bay Oval in Tauranga on 17 January 2026, the Hot Spring Spas T20 Black Clash, which has sold out each year, will once again bring together rugby and cricket legends for a unique T20 cricket showdown that blends sport and entertainment.

NZME will continue to support the event across its leading audio, digital and print platforms, with Radio Hauraki leading the charge alongside The Alternative Commentary Collective (The ACC) and The Hits. The ACC crew will bring their trademark humour and energy to the TVNZ live broadcast commentary as well as the popular dedicated ACC and DB Export Ultra Zone.

Emily Travers, NZME’s Head of Commercial Sport, Partnership and Events, says the renewed partnership reflects NZME’s commitment to delivering exceptional live experiences while connecting brands with highly engaged audiences.

“We’re delighted to continue our strong partnership with Duco to bring Kiwis closer to this fantastic annual event. The T20 Black Clash is a firm favourite across the country, with a massive live broadcast audience and sell-out crowds year after year. Duco knows how to entertain and this collaboration is sport entertainment at its best.”

We look forward to delivering another unforgettable event for sportainment fans across the country in 2026 and beyond.”
