Samoa Withdraws From OFC U-19 Women’s Championship
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) confirms that Samoa has withdrawn from the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2025 to be played in Tahiti. (21 Sep-4 Oct)
Samoa Football has cited financial reasons for its decision.
As per Article 6.4 of the OFC U19 Women’s Championship 2025 regulations, any participating Association that withdraws before the commencement of the Competition will be liable for disciplinary action by the OFC Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
OFC acknowledges Samoa’s commitment to women’s football and looks forward to their continued participation in future competitions and development programmes.
The tournament schedule has been adjusted accordingly, and all stakeholders have been informed of the changes.
OFC remains committed to delivering a successful and competitive OFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2025 in Tahiti, showcasing the best of women’s youth football in the Pacific.
