Tool Announce Exclusive Auckland Show This November - Spark Arena

TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY 22 SEPTEMBER
GRAMMY Award®-winning juggernauts TOOL will make their long-awaited return to New Zealand, today announcing an exclusive Auckland headlineshow at Spark Arena on Saturday 22 November. Renowned for their mind-bending musicianship, boundary-pushing visuals, and one of the most powerful live experiences in rock, TOOL will deliver an unmissable night for Aotearoa fans, marking their first performance in the country in five years.
Formed in 1990, TOOL – Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals) – are one of the most groundbreaking, muscular heavy bands of our era. Across five studio albums to date – Undertow (1993), Ænima (1996), Lateralus (2001),10,000 Days (2006), and their latest release, Fear Inoculum (2019) – TOOL have redefined the possibilities of rock through complex, hypnotic compositions and unparalleled live production.
Fear Inoculum debuted at #1 in New Zealand, the band’s third consecutive #1 in the country. Critics hailed it as a stunning triumph, Rolling Stone declaring it “a formal masterpiece” and Kerrang “absolutely gobsmacking”.
TOOL have been on the road in 2025, including performing their first ever set at Lollapalooza Argentina in March, joining the festival also in Chile and Brazil. In July, they also paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, joining the late rocker onstage at Black Sabbath’s final reunion show.
Tickets go on sale Monday 22 September (12pm NZST) via frontiertouring.com/tool. Frontier Members presale begins Thursday 18 September (12pm NZST).
Don’t miss the multi-sensory, groundbreaking experience that is Tool, live in concert. Do not delay – tickets will not last long!
