Is Cleo NZ’s Next Country Pop Princess?

Eleven-year-old Cleo Fitzgerald from Lyttelton is the latest star to emerge from Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park’s national talent search.
Cleo sings, dances, plays piano and guitar and she successfully beat out over 80 applicants who auditioned for this year’s Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park concert in Christchurch. She’ll be starring alongside a talent packed lineup of Kiwi performers at the free outdoor Christmas show at Hagley Park on Saturday 29 November.
Having started performing at just five, Cleo’s already making waves. She was recently crowned overall winner at the Junior NZ Golden Guitar Awards, which earnt her a spot to perform at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in Australia next year.
Creative director of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, Dixon Nacey says, “Cleo is definitely one to watch; she’s a star on the rise and we can’t wait to see her light up the big stage in front of a massive home crowd in November.”
