BNZ Breakers Face Brisbane Bullets In Critical Ignite Cup Showdown

The BNZ Breakers are gearing up for a high-stakes clash, traveling to the Gold Coast to take on the Brisbane Bullets this Wednesday in a fixture with massive implications for the Ignite Cup.

The battle for a spot in the lucrative Ignite Cup Final is heating up. The BNZ Breakers currently sit joint second on the separate Ignite Cup ladder with 7 points, following a maximum 7-point haul in their dominant win against the Illawarra Hawks last month.

The groundbreaking in-season tournament has revolutionized Wednesday night basketball, culminating in a final with a massive $400,000 prize pool. The winning team will take home $300,000 and the runner-up $100,000, with 60% of the prize money going directly to the players.
