One Show Has Travelled 11695 Miles Just To Debut At The NZ Fringe!
Sully O’Sullivan: A Complete Idiot’s Guide to Great Britain
It’s the ultimate outsider's insider's guide to Great Britain: NZ Fringe 25-28 Feb 2026
Having Blitzed the UK Government's controversial citizenship test, international award winning Kiwi Comedian and freshly minted Brit Sully O’Sullivan shines a hilarious light on the reality of Britain’s claims to Greatness. Like how do you apologise for accidentally hanging a Monkey because you thought it was a French spy? Was Queen Elizabeth really her own cousin? And what’s actually in Brown Sauce that makes it taste so....brown?
In 2023 Sully O’Sullivan debuted ‘A Complete Idiot’s Guide to New Zealand’ at the Edinburgh Fringe to sold out rooms and five star reviews, but he was harbouring a secret! The entire time he was introducing overseas audiences to the artistic genius of Laser Kiwi Flags and the benefits of your country being absent from world maps, he was simultaneously applying for British Citizenship. So after using his home nation as comedic inspiration all across Great Britain, it’s now time to turn the tables!
After featuring in New Zealand’s original stand-up TV Showcase ‘Pulp Comedy’, and being nominated for a Billy T Award, Sully O’Sullivan headed to the UK on a 24 month working holiday visa. Twenty years later, having spent 2 decades plying his trade on one of the most competitive stand-up comedy circuits in the world, he returns with a whole new show, and a whole new nationality.
