Sam Ruthe Breaks John Walker's NZ Mile Record

Sam Ruthe has made history in Boston, running 3:48.88 to break John Walker’s 1982 NZ MIle record of 3:49.08. Ruthe also obliterated the NZ Indoor mile record and his own u20 mile record.
Ruthe raced at Boston University’s Terrier Classic, winning the men’s elite mile. Ruthe moved from second in to first over the final lap of the indoor race.
Ruthe now sits in number 10 all time globally for the indoor mile.
