The Beths Announce Bub And Dateline For Upcoming NZ Tour
The Beths will bring rising local acts Bub and Dateline along for their upcoming Aotearoa tour next month, which includes a new and final show at The Turner Centre in Kerikeri on Saturday 28 March. The now eight-date tour will take the Globetrotting local four piece across the country in celebration of their critically acclaimed album Straight Line Was lie, released last August via American label ANTI-.
Opening shows in Wellington, Dunedin, Christchurch, Nelson and Auckland (Thursday 26 Marchonly) is Bub, the hook-heavy Tāmaki Makaurau four-piece fronted by powerhouse vocalist and notorious karaoke-ist Priya Sami, alongside Daniel Barrett (bass), David Harris (drums) andKat Tomacruz (lead guitar, BVs).
Dateline - the indie-pop/rock project of Katie Everingham, returns as a familiar face on The Beths’ stage after opening for the band in the UK and Europe last year. Since forming in 2017, Dateline has evolved through multiple iterations, gaining momentum after Everingham’s move to Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington and the release of their second critically acclaimed album, It’s All Downhill from Here. Dateline opens The Beths' sold out Auckland headline date at Powerstation on Friday 27 March and Kerikeri's Turner Centre on Saturday 28 March.
Riding on the success of Straight Line Was A Lie and fresh from an extensive period of international touring, The Beths continue their global momentum throughout 2026. Womb (NZ) will join the band as support on their upcoming Australian tour this April; followed by a US summer co-headline tour with Spoon and co-headline dates with Beach Bunny. 2026 also sees The Beths appear at major international festivals including Governors Ball (US), Summerfest (US), BottleRock (US), Green River Festival (US), Canela Party (Spain), Into The Great Wide Open(Netherlands), Fuji Rock (Japan) and more. The Beths' inaugural Japanese tour also kicks off this week.
Next month, The Beths return home in top form, bringing their sharpest, most expansive live show yet. Tickets are selling fast - visit thebeths.com for all dates and ticketing information.
