Linkin Park Smashes Spark Arena All-Time Record During Historic Auckland Performance On Their From Zero World Tour

Last night, global rock legends LINKIN PARK officially cemented their place in New Zealand music history, shattering the all-time record for a single show at Spark Arena on their ‘From Zero World Tour’.
The 12,736 ticket milestone was celebrated with a special commemorative presentation held backstage before the band took the stage to a sold-out crowd. This record-breaking attendance surpasses all previous single-night ticket tallies since the arena’s doors first opened in 2007.
To honour the achievement, Spark Arena leadership presented the band with an award recognising their unprecedented impact on the New Zealand market.
Mark Gosling, GM of Spark Arena, said: “The atmosphere tonight underscored why Auckland remains a premier destination for global tours. To break a nearly twenty-year attendance record is a testament to the band’s enduring connection with their fans and the strength of New Zealand’s live music scene.”

On September 5, the band made a triumphant return to the top of the charts with “The Emptiness Machine,” which exploded as the #1 rock song in the country and the biggest rock song of 2024. It made a rapid climb to #1 on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart and Alternative Airplay Chart. In total, the band have scored a staggering 13 #1 entries on the latter chart (the second-most in history) with three in the last eighteen months. LINKIN PARK released their 8th studio album From Zero on November 15 on Warner Records, once again topping charts around the world and eclipsing a billion streams.
