Shapeshifter Celebrate 20 Years Of ‘Soulstice’ With An 8-Date NZ Roadie

Aotearoa live drum and bass legends Shapeshifter are hitting the road this winter to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic album Soulstice.

Tracks like ‘Summer Haze,’ ‘New Day Come,’ ‘Electric Dream,’ and ‘One'; helped define their early signature live sound and remain fan favourites in their sets to this day. The album’s lyrics explore timeless themes - overcoming adversity, positivity, and resilience - that continue to resonate with listeners.

“Soulstice was created during the lush, sun-drenched transition from bright summer to deep amber autumn. The foreshore of Kaikōura hosted us in a ramshackle Kiwi bach - the kind of place families would pack the car full to escape to over the holidays. As we hit the road this autumn and head into winter, we want to carry those feelings of creating Soulstice with us.” - Shapeshifter

The 8-date Soulstice 20th Anniversary Roadie takes in Invercargill, Dunedin, Wānaka, Christchurch, Methven, Wellington, Whanganui, and New Plymouth, bringing their celebrated live show to theatres and halls across Aotearoa, revisiting towns they haven’t played in years and performing at many venues for the first time.

Shapeshifter continues: “A true Kiwi roadie - exploring our beautiful country and performing for our fans, new and old - thanks to the support of Waitomo.”
