ITF WELCOMES ENHANCED INTEGRATION OF TERTIARY EDUCATION
Martin Eadie, Chair of the Industry Training Federation (ITF), today welcomed the second report of the Tertiary Education Advisory Commission (TEAC).
“The broad objectives and the direction outlined in this report are consistent with our submissions to TEAC,” said Mr Eadie.
“There are important issues that we need to discuss further, however it is encouraging to see the Industry Training Strategy integrated with other tertiary sector policies and recognised as a valued partner in the knowledge society,” he said.
“The ITF will be encouraging industry leaders to take up the Minister’s invitation to further develop and refine the recommendations in this report,” said Mr Eadie.
