Maharey Celebrates Loan Scheme At Lincoln
Lincoln University Students' Association will tomorrow enjoy celebrating the 10th Birthday of the student loan scheme with Steve Maharey.
"The student loan scheme has been running for 10 years now," said Students' Association President Greg Henderson. "It is great that the person currently in charge of the scheme will be celebrating the occasion with us here at Lincoln."
"The minister will be talking to students about the government's priorities coming into the election," said Henderson. "National inflicted the scheme on students and Maharey will tomorrow explain what his government is going to do to rectify the problem."
"We are looking forward to a day of intense communication between the students of the University and the Minister and welcome any other interested parties," said Henderson.
Steve Maharey (Associate Education Minister (Tertiary Education)) will speak to students at 12:00 untill 1:00 on Thursday afternoon on the Sunken Lawn at Lincoln University, all welcome to attend.
