“On 4th February
this year I referred to the Office of the Controller and
Auditor-General matters in respect of the management and
accounting practices of a contract between the Ministry of
Education and the Mäori Education Trust,” Howard Fancy,
Secretary for Education said today.
“There has been no suggestion of fraud involved. I understand the Office of the Controller and Auditor-General will issue terms of reference next week.”
