Tue, 17 Aug 2004

MEDIA RELEASE

The Federation of Independent English Language Schools (FIELSNZ) announced today that it is changing its name to ENGLISH NEW ZEALAND. A new website and brand launch will follow shortly.

FIELSNZ Chairman, William Neale, said "The name change reflects our desire to reaffirm our guardianship of the good reputation of English language teaching in New Zealand. FIELSNZ has represented members of the English teaching profession for 18 years and our membership includes schools with more than 25 years' experience."

Member schools create ambassadors for New Zealand by providing the ultimate learning experience for our students including top notch teachers, facilities, pastoral care and homestay accommodation as well as cultural experiences and tourism opportunities.

"We believe it is time to show the world and the New Zealand public that New Zealand is the best place in the world to visit, travel, live and study."

"ENGLISH NEW ZEALAND represents English language schools which provide a quality and truly New Zealand experience to their students. We hope to represent all English schools that will share our vision, ethics and quality standards."
