Student Engineers Meet Real World Challenges at National Symposium
This years Student Engineers National Symposium (SENS’05) is off to a brilliant start by launching a new website to encourage more students to take part in this year’s event.
The website at www.sens.org.nz enables students to download registration forms and meet the organising team. It also gives potential sponsors the opportunity to find out more about the benefits of becoming involved.
SENS’05 will be held in Wellington, New Zealand’s Capital City from Friday July 8 until Monday July 11 , and events will be held in and around the greater Wellington region.
SENS’05 aims to bring together 150+ undergraduate engineers from all engineering schools across New Zealand, as well as international guests from Australia, Canada and Europe.
“IPENZ is excited to be associated with the event. The engineering students of today will be instrumental in planning and developing the infrastructure of tomorrow” says IPENZ president Roly Frost. He encourages engineering organisations to support the event as a sponsor.
The SENS’05 website contains information for our delegates as well as corporate partners. We have taken the successes of the Inaugural Engineers Symposium in August 2004 and built on this to involve more engineering students.
