Monitoring and Marking Update
The Qualifications Authority has advised that some questions in two more standards have been remarked.
The standards are Level 2 Classics (90247) and Level 2 Accounting (90224).
To date, marking has been suspended (and resumed), for 11 out of 335 standards.
The Qualifications Authority's Acting Chief Executive Karen Sewell says more than a third of the papers have been marked.
"We expect marking of all NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3 standards to be completed in about a fortnight, as planned. The remarking will not affect the date for the release of results in late January.
"I will continue to release details of remarking until all standards are marked. This is an open and transparent process designed to ensure the results are consistent and fair," says Karen Sewell.
The standards remarked so far are:
Standard Name and Number and Credit Values English level 1 – 90054 - 2 credits English level 1 – 90057 -3 credits English level 2 – 90380 -3 credits Economics level 1 – 90198-5 credits Maths level 1 – 90152-2 credits Maths level 3 – 90636-6 credits Maths level 3 – 90635-6 credits Japanese level 1 – 90102-6 credits Drama level 3 – 90612-4 credits Classics level 2– 90247-5 credits Accounting level 2– 90224-5 credits
