Scholarships awarded to Three ITC Students
Industry Scholarships awarded to Three ITC Students
International Travel College (ITC) students Justin Fraser, Laura Blundell and Amber Reid have been awarded an industry scholarship worth $3000.00 each from the Aviation, Travel and Tourism Training Organisation. They all worked hard to submit their applications, which included evidence of their desire to study travel and tourism, together with a five hundred-word career path essay.
There was stiff competition amongst the students from all of the providers of Travel and Tourism training within New Zealand. They swept the board (well almost!) securing three of the nine scholarships awarded!
Well done to them all an excellent result! Justin and Laura are now working in the Industry and Amber is still studying at ITC for her Certificate in International Travel, Tourism and Information Technology.
"ITC has opened up the world for me, and is allowing me to persue a successful career path," said Amber.
"I would like to thank everybody who helped me with my application, everyone at ITC and especially the girls at Waiuku Travel Ltd. I really enjoyed the time I spent at ITC and the great friends I made there" said Justin.
All these students will have great careers and their positive attitudes and initiative will be in demand by industry employers.
