Multi Serve Education Trust / Cognition Consulting Named as Finalist in 2006 New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Awards

New accolade indicative of growing stature for leading educational organisation

NEW ZEALAND, Friday, 13 October 2006: Multi Serve Education Trust and its wholly owned subsidiary Cognition Consulting have been selected as a finalist in the 2006 New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Export Awards. It is the only educational organisation in the 19 strong line-up.

Des Hammond, Chairman Cognition Consulting and Chief Executive Multi Serve Education Trust, says the accolade represents a significant milestone for both operations, which provide a range of school leadership, business and pedagogical consulting services.

"Although we are focused on supporting and contributing directly to New Zealand's educational future, we are increasingly working on the global stage, where our kiwi style of delivery and experience is sought after," he says.

"It's gratifying to know that our work is so highly regarded, both here in New Zealand and in the demanding, complex markets where we currently export our services," he says.

The finalists are contesting seven sector-based Export Awards, with one of the category winners being named the '2006 DHL Supreme Exporter of the Year'. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland on 30 November, with the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon. Helen Clark, presenting the Award for the DHL Supreme Exporter of the Year.
