Ministry welcomes PPTA decision to call off strike

Karen Sewell says she is delighted with the PPTA’s
decision to call off a proposed strike on September
12.
“I am extremely grateful to the PPTA and Ministry of Education negotiators for all the hard work they have put in to reach this outcome.
“The decision not to strike is a good one, and talks will continue this week in an environment of good faith and co-operation.
“We both hope a settlement will be finalised soon.”
