Kids’ Day Out at Unitec
Press Release: Kids’ Day Out at Unitec
Auckland, New Zealand – March 12, 2009
You may think that is strange to hold a Kids’ Day at a tertiary institution, but USU Students’ Association at Unitec recognises that Unitec’s student population is largely made up of mature students and is committed to catering to this group.
Kids’ Day Out was created to allow students and the local community to bring families to the campus to experience a fun day out together.
This year’s Kids’ Day Out is to be held on Saturday 21 March and will be the second time USU has hosted this event at Unitec.
The Funky Monkeys – New Zealand’s super group for kids will be there performing their hit song and dance routine.
Old Mac Donald’s farm will allow children to get up close with a range of farm animals; sheep, rabbits, goats, and ponies.
There will also be face painters, balloon sculptors, story tellers and bouncy castles.
Bring the kids along to Unitec Mt Albert from 11am – 3pm on Saturday 21 March for an awesome day out!
