MIT Caps its First Doctoral Graduates

Doctoral Graduates
Graduation 2010 at
Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) this week marks an
auspicious occasion celebrating the first two doctoral
graduates to come out of MIT in amongst a graduating total
of 1091.
“Our DBA graduates this year are the first of a swelling number of MBA and DBA students coming up through the ranks," says Dr. Wayne Dreyer, Director of the Southern Cross University MBA programme run at MIT. “We are of course proud of this achievement and feel privileged to be able to deliver programmes for our students that span from foundation level all the way to doctoral.”
The graduates, their friends and families gathered at the Telstra Clear Pacific Events Centre to honour the successful students this week. Among the graduates was Dr Bruce Bryant, DBA graduate and former Warriors Captain, and MBA graduate, Steve Price both whom were received with rapturous applause and a standing ovation.
