Ministry pleased bargaining is underway
The Ministry of Education is pleased bargaining is underway for the Secondary Principals Collective Agreement, Group Manager Education Workforce Fiona McTavish said today.
“We look forward to bargaining continuing constructively,” said Fiona McTavish.
The unions had taken some time to put their claims together, with the Ministry receiving them only last week, she said.
“While it’s a little too early for the unions to expect an offer in response, we’re working through the claims and expect to make good progress towards a reasonable and affordable settlement,” said Fiona McTavish.
