Auckland’s Diocesan School Raises Over $14,000 For Quake Victims
Auckland’s Diocesan
School for Girls raised more than $14,000 for
Christchurch’s earthquake victims today by holding a black
and red mufti day.
Prefects and Year 13 students came up with the idea and collected donations from staff and students at the all-girls Auckland school in Epsom.
Hundreds of Year 1 to 13 students gathered on the school’s front lawn at lunchtime to form a giant heart and shout out a “Kia Kaha Canterbury” message of support to those affected by the devastating quake.
