Secretary welcomes settlement
Secretary for Education Karen Sewell has welcomed settlement of the Area School Teachers’ Collective Agreement (ASTCA).
“I’m very pleased that the Ministry of Education, New Zealand Educational Institute (NZEI) and Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA) have reached settlement”, Karen Sewell said.
“This was a constructive bargaining round that has resulted in a very good settlement for Area Teachers and their employers, Boards of Trustees.”
Karen Sewell said she hoped Area School Teachers would ratify the settlement shortly.
