Ministry delighted settlements reached
Secretary for Education Karen Sewell has congratulated union, NZSTA and Ministry advocates for reaching settlement of the Support Staff in Schools and the Kaiarahi i te Reo, Therapists’, Assistants to Teachers of Students with Severe Disabilities and Special Education Assistants’ Collective Agreements.
“I’m delighted that settlement has been reached,” Ms Sewell said.
“Thanks to the hard work and commitment of all the parties involved, the settlements will go out for ratification at paid union meetings to be held 29 August – 16 September,” she said.
