Nationwide Search Finds Hundreds of Inspiring Kiwi Teachers

Nationwide Search Reveals Hundreds of Inspiring Kiwi Teachers

Hundreds of teachers from all over the country have already been nominated in a nationwide search for New Zealand’s most inspiring teachers.

The month-long campaign which closes 11th November is an opportunity to say thanks to all our deserving teachers, many of whom go above and beyond to make school time that much more enjoyable.

Thirty nominated teachers will share in $30,000 worth of classroom supplies from Warehouse Stationery, with one of the 30 winning a grand prize including a $5000 holiday and the title of New Zealand’s Most Inspiring Teacher 2011.

“So far, we have had more than 600 entries from all over the country” says Warehouse Stationery spokesperson Anna Campbell. “The response has been overwhelming.”

“Nominations are coming in from one end of the country to the other and it’s clear to see that this campaign has struck a chord with many people.

“It’s so encouraging to see the very high standard of teachers we have here in New Zealand. Our children are in very good hands!”

Judges will be looking for teachers who have a passion for the profession and their pupils – the ones who are committed to the learning process and go beyond the call of duty in terms of time and resources.

Nominating your favourite teacher is easy. Simply visit www.nzinspiringteachers.co.nz before Friday 11th November to find out more.
