S.I.T Hairdressing Competition
S.I.T Hairdressing Competition

Bells and whistles were all go last Friday at the Southern Institute of Technology when the Certificate in Elementary Hair Design students took part in the Creative Long Hair Competition.
The students task during the competition was to create an overall look, dress their model, apply the makeup, prepare the hair then they were given 30 minutes to create the hairstyle in an ‘up do’ format.
Victoria Wood took the title with guest Judge Kyla Mclean from Venom stating that “clean lines, brilliant texture and the overall look being very methodical” were what stood Victoria out from the rest of the competitors.
Kyla also commented that she was blown away with the calibre of the work from all contestants saying it was incredible and a very hard decision to choose a winner.
