Call for applications - Fulbright New Zealand Scholar Awards
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Fulbright New Zealand calls for applications to a range of scholar awards for New Zealand academics, artists, teachers and professionals to undertake academic and cultural exchanges to the United States of America. A Fulbright exchange provides life-changing opportunities to gain international experience and advance your career, to explore America, to share your culture and to make friends and colleagues from around the world. Grantees undertake an exchange to their choice of leading American universities, which are world renowned for their expertise and resources.
Fulbright New Zealand Scholar Awards
These awards, valued up to US$37,500, are
for New Zealand academics, artists or professionals to
lecture and/or conduct research in the US for three to five
months. A small number of awards are granted each year.
Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Scholar Award
This award, valued at up to US$37,500, is
for a New Zealand academic, artist or professional to
conduct research and/or lecture in the US for two to five
months in a field of indigenous development. One award is
granted each year.
Fulbright-Cognition Scholar Award in Education Research
This award, valued at up to
US$37,500, is for a New Zealand educator or researcher to
pursue research in the US designed to have an impact on New
Zealand student outcomes, for two to five months. One or two
awards are granted each year.
Fulbright-Meg Everton Professional Enhancement Awards in Education
These awards,
valued at up to NZ$5,000, are for New Zealand educators in
early childhood, primary or secondary education to undertake
a professional development activity in the US for 12 to 90
days. A small number of awards are granted each year.
Applications for each
of these awards close at 5:00pm on Thursday 1 October
2015
