Sky Tv And Newstalk Zb Team Up To Support Koru Care
Charitable Trust
SKY Television and Newstalk ZB confirmed today that they have reached agreement to become the key sponsors of the Koru Care Charitable trust, which provides support for disadvantaged, terminally ill and disabled New Zealand children.
The sponsorship will involve a number of fundraising and marketing campaigns aimed at raising much needed funds to help make dreams come true for the Koru Care kids.
Over the next twelve months sponsored events will include the New Zealand premiere of the new James Bond movie, “Die another Day”, the Koru Care Christmas Flight, a two week trip to Disneyland for fifty children and their caregivers, the annual Koru Care Charity Auction and Dinner and a trip to the Gold Coast for twenty-six children and their caregivers scheduled for September 2003.
SKY’s Chief Executive, John Fellet said, “SKY is delighted to be able to contribute to such a worthwhile and necessary charity and looks forward to working with the Trust.”
