Advancements in Anxiety Disorders Conference

The Phobic Trust of NZ Inc 1983 is hosting ‘Advancements in Anxiety Disorders Conference’. It will examine the latest information in the clinical research, treatment and management of these disorders and their co-morbidity with depression, substance and alcohol abuse and suicide.

Venue: Ellerslie Function Centre, Ellerslie Racecourse Dates: July 24-26 2003. Weekly updates to follow.

Professor Dr Denis Kelleher Mulhilly, Ed.D., President, Chairman of the Board of Directors, US Regional Office of the President, American University of Suriname, South America. Subject: Marijuana Dependence. Exposing myths through pragmatic application and scientific evidence.

Professor James McCracken, M.D., Joseph Campbell Professor of Child Psychiatry, Director, Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, USA. Subject: Genetics and Anxiety Disorders in Young People.

Professor Darin Dougherty, M.D., Psychiatric Neuroscience Program, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, USA. Subject: Diagnosis and Treatment of OCD.
