Canterbury Carter Rugby Fans Asked To Refrain
“Health Cuts Hurt is asking Canterbury’s Dan Carter fans to refrain from ‘souveniring’ our group’s red and black ‘Carter’ health board election signs after tonight’s game (Auckland versus Canterbury),” Heather Carter of Health Cuts Hurt said today.
“After each Canterbury game over the last few weeks many of our A3 red and black signs with Carter on them have had to be replaced,” said Heather Carter. “It is clear that only the two Carter signs go – signs with the names of our two other candidates (Dowie and McKenzie) are left alone!”
“Like all Cantabrians we naturally support the red and blacks,” said Heather Carter. “However, there is only one week to go before the Health Board elections in which Eleanor (Carter) and I are standing and we are happy to then give them to any supporters who want them!”
