The Directors of Calan Healthcare Properties Limited, on behalf of Calan Healthcare Properties Trust, have declared a gross taxable distribution of
2 cents per unit for the first quarter of the financial year. Gross Taxable Distribution 2.0000 cents per unit

Less Resident Withholding Tax (0.3760) cents per unit Imputation credits (0.2840) cents per unit Resulting in a net distribution of 1.3400 cents per unit

The Record Date for this distribution has been set as 5.00pm Friday 12 November 2004 with the payment date to be 1 December 2004.

For Unit Holders participating in the Distribution Reinvestment Plan, the Strike Price will be announced on 22 November 2004.
