RCNZ members endorse new organisation

Re: RCNZ members unanimously endorse the formation of a new organisation
Members of the Residential Care New Zealand (RCNZ)) voted today to support the formation of a new organisation with New Zealand Private Hospitals Association (NZPHA). The new organisation would provide strengthened representation and advocacy, leadership in service delivery and research on sector needs and sector trends.
This is the first step towards ensuring that the private health sector in New Zealand has a stronger voice to present its case to the funders of care. The strength of the combined organisation will be significant and will allow us to concentrate on getting the right message through to the Government that the current situation is not sustainable
We urge you to consider these key issues and would be happy to provide further information.
