White Pages® Arts Charity Auction
A grand night at the White Pages® Arts Charity Auction
What’s Up, the free telephone counselling service for five to 18 year olds, is looking forward to a grand night at the White Pages® Arts Charity Auction on 15 November thanks to the generosity of artists and of the staff from White Pages®.
“The White Pages® Arts Charity Auction is a great opportunity for members of the public to buy some stunning artworks while supporting What’s Up,” said Grant Taylor, Executive Director of What’s Up.
“We really appreciate the generosity of the artists, who submitted their creations for the White Pages Art Awards and auction, as well as the voluntary time and effort put in by the staff at White Pages to ensure that the event is a success.”
“It’s really easy for members of the public to join in the live auction, which starts from 5.30pm on Wednesday 15 November at the Ellerslie Convention Centre, in Auckland. Entry is free. You can also see the artworks up for auction on the website www.whitepagesarts.co.nz and make a bid on-line.”
What’s Up lines are open noon to midnight, seven days a week, and receive up to 2,000 calls every day. Some 45 percent of the issues raised relate to relationships with peers, family and friends.
