Stabbed Police Officer status

MEDIA STATEMENT
Police Acting Sergeant Andrew Grice, 34,
who was stabbed in the back and shoulder at a Fairfield
house in Hamilton about 6.30pm yesterday has been moved from
Waikato Hospital's High Dependency Unit to a ward at the
hospital.
His condition remains stable.
Mr Grice's
family have asked the media to respect his wish for
privacy.
