Follow Up Midwifery Career Information Session
SDHB is hosting a further information session about careers in midwifery on Monday 10 December, following on from the strong interest in last month's information events.
"We had over thirty people come along to last month's sessions and many email and telephone inquiries from people who couldn't make it - even as late as yesterday afternoon," said Jenny Humphries,Associate Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
"Monday's session is being held in conjunction with the Otago School of Midwifery, who will be providing local education opportunities.
"We had advised people who contacted us that more information would be available in the near future and this is the follow-up session with more details".
The session will cover the midwifery education programme, entry requirements and career opportunities. It will be held at 2.30pm in the Community Services Building Lecture Theatre, on the Southland Hospital campus, near the corner of Kew and Elles Roads.
