PRESS RELEASE FOR PHOBIC TRUST CAR RAFFLE

Big Cause - Big Car - Big Raffle

The Phobic Trust of New Zealand Inc in collaboration with Custom Rods, Hot Rod Builders of Auckland is delighted to announce a unique fund raising initiative.

The Phobic Trust of New Zealand Inc is a charitable organisation that specialises in the treatment of patients with severe Anxiety, Phobic, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and associated illnesses. Custom Rods is an Auckland based Hot Rod building company whose mission is to “recreate classic cars from the 30’s with the drivability and reliability of a new car.” The craftsmen at Custom Rods create new cars (with 3 year new car warranties) that ignite the passion and romance of motoring for us all. The two organisations have come together in a unique fundraising initiative to raise public awareness around the work of the Phobic Trust

Marcia Read, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Phobic Trust of New Zealand says the offer of a brand new custom built car as the major prize for a fund raising raffle is very exciting, almost overwhelming and an amazing show of support for the Trust from the team at Custom Rods.

The specially built car that some incredibly lucky winner will drive away with is valued at more than $200,000. Tickets at just $10 each, go on sale from the 5th January 2009 and the car called ”FERN” will be on display around the country at various events over the coming summer months.

MP and Phobic Trust Board Advisor Jackie Blue will be unveiling the car on Friday 19th December 4pm at a function at Custom Rods, 59 Onehunga Mall.
