Hello all,
Recently I had an idea - to shave my hair off to raise money for the six NZ children and adults who are diagnosed with blood cancers like leukaemia and lymphoma every day.

Being an artist, I wanted the shave event to be a creative celebration, of which many friends and generous souls such as yourselves, could be involved.

So with the help of the you, the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation, the New Zealand Art Guild and the Bruce Mason Centre, let's make 3rd February 2009 a night to be remembered!!!

"SHAVE AN ARTIST" 3 FEB 09
Top NZ Artists have donated 13 artworks, which will be auctioned off at a one-of-a-kind charity event.
Watch while 13 artists and friends have their heads shaved alongside their artworks being auctioned!
100% of the proceeds from the art auction and head shaves will be donated to the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation.
When: Tuesday 3rd February 2009. 6:00pm.
Where: Bruce Mason Centre, Cnr Promenade and Hurstmere Rd, Takapuna Beach, North Shore City, Auckland.
Entry: Free - All welcome

"LIFE Exhibition" 3 - 28 FEB 09
"Shave An Artist 2009" will launch a fantastic month long exhibition at the Bruce Mason Centre.
Artworks will depict "LIFE" in all its facets by 35 artists from around NZ.
20% of all artwork sales from the exhibition will be donated to the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation.
When: 3rd - 28th February 2009. Open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Sat 10am-4pm
