New Zealanders are 450 kilos lighter
For Immediate Release: 9th February 2009
New
Zealanders are 450 kilos lighter and that number is climbing
as downsizers are losing every day.
A weight-loss revolution is sweeping through towns throughout New Zealand in the form of ‘The Power of You’ an intimate evening with the ‘Nutrition Magician,’ Damian Kristof and the “Fitness Guru”, Lee-Ann Wann as seen on TV3’s Popular Weight Loss series.
These seminars are the brainchild of Phyllis Briggs, also recently featured on prime-time news program Campbell Live (http://www.3news.co.nz/Size-swapping-website-helps-womens-wallets-and-waistlines/tabid/367/articleID/88986/cat/757/Default.aspx).
In 2008, Phyllis put $27,000 of her own money on the line to give away to one faithful follower of her weight loss journey if she didn’t achieve her 30kg weight-loss goal. Her story was highly followed after being widely publicized in New Zealands ‘That’s Life’ Magazine through a monthly column she wrote. However, with Damian’s expert advice and assistance Phyllis spent last year losing a whopping 33 kilos going from 90kgs down to a slim and terrific 57kgs.
Such was Phyllis’s success and improvement with Damian’s eating plans that now they are combining the power of food and exercise with Phyllis’s no nonsense mindset strategies to become a powerful team to tackle peoples weight loss challenges through the 112 Day Challenge (http://www.112daychallenge.com) and ‘The Power of You’ tour. The beginning of this revolution started with the 112 Day Challenge where over the last 3 months a group of challengers have lost in excess of 450kgs while regaining their health.
During ‘The Power of You’ evening, Kristof promises to clear the confusion about food while suggesting changes people can make immediately.
“People lock their doors and windows at night to keep their homes safe” says Mr Kristof, “yet they have harmful foods available to them and their children 24/7 in their cupboards!... If you must have it….GO OUT, keep your home safe”
“The time it takes to make a nutritious meal, is the time it takes to drive to the takeaway” says Phyllis Briggs, “In light of the down turn in the economy why not eat at home and keep the money in your pocket. The only side effects are a fabulous new trim body!”
‘The Power of You’ promises to be an enlightening evening, for all those on their weight-loss journey or thinking about starting one. These dynamic, fun, and entertaining presenters will lift the lid on food and exercise myths and reveal some facts that will have people looking at food and exercise differently!
Damian Kristof and Lee-Ann Wann along with the newly trimmed down Phyllis can be seen (February & March) in Wellington, Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Hamilton, Auckland, Dunedin, Invercargill, Queenstown, Greymouth, Timaru, Christchurch & Blenheim.
Tickets are available from Ticketek or http://www.nzeventplanners.co.nz. For further information about “The Power of You” Seminars please contact.
