Five suspect cases cleared
Today, Hawke’s Bay District Health Board’s Public Health Unit was able to exclude five suspect cases of Influenza A (H1N1) after test results returned a negative result overnight
Medical Officer of Health Caroline McElnay said it was “really good news”.
There was one remaining suspect case for whom the DHB was still awaiting test results.
The one student who was confirmed for Influenza A (H1N!) Swine Flu was recovering well and would be returning to school in the near future, she said.
