CanTeen’s Bandanna Challenge is looking for
Volunteers
16 - 31 October 2009
The 2009 CanTeen Bandanna Challenge is set to be one of the biggest yet – but they need your help! CanTeen is looking for volunteers to help sell bandannas and collect donations for CanTeen’s Bandanna Challenge, 16th – 31st October.
With designs from New Zealand’s top sportspeople, musicians and creatives including Dan Carter, Hollie Smith, Maria Tutaia, Lisa Tamati and Federation clothing, these bandannas won’t be a hard sell!
CanTeen provides a place where members, aged between 13 and 24, can share their experiences and feelings with other young people who know what it’s like to live with cancer.
The money raised through the sale of the $4 bandannas helps CanTeen provide vital support, skills and tools for the estimated 10-12,000 young people living with cancer, either as a patient, sibling or bereaved sibling.
The Bandanna Challenge is one of the largest fundraising initiatives for CanTeen, which receives no government funding.
