New market helps out parents
FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE:
New market
helps parents with ever increasing costs of raising
children
Auckland, New Zealand – 21 June 2010 - A new market just launched in Auckland aims to assist parents with the ever-increasing costs of raising children. The preloved Baby & Children’s Market provides a place for parents to on-sell their preloved items to other parents looking to save some money on items they need for their growing children. The market will be held on a regular basis at venues around Auckland with the first market being held in Mt Eden on 21st August.
A great way for parents to de-clutter their homes, they can take a stall at the market and on-sell all the items they no longer need for their children to other parents looking to save money by purchasing pre-loved items. Stalls will be selling quality pre-loved items for babies through to older children and include clothing, toys, prams, highchairs, bikes and much more. Market founder, Dana Unkovich, says, “With babies and kids growing out of stuff so fast a lot of items can end up very gently used and hardly worn at all. From a sustainability and economic perspective it makes sense to buy some items pre-loved, especially in these tough financial times”.
The first market will be held in Mt Eden on 21st August at the War Memorial hall in Dominion Road from 9am – 12pm. Stalls are selling fast so parents wanting to sell at the market should book now online at http://www.babychildrensmarket.co.nz. The market is planned to run on a regular basis and future markets around Auckland and further a field are planned.
