Zumba for a Cure!

MEDIA RELEASE NOVEMBER 2010
Make Every Move Count

Breast Cancer Research Trust and cityfitness will host a 4-hour Zumbathon at 12 of their locations nationwide on November 19th and 20th – raising money to find a cure for breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Research Trust ambassador Nerida Cortese will be one of the star instructors, joined by Monty Betham, Carol Ann Hickmore, Aaron Gilmore and Krystal Stuart hosting the four-hour work out party.

Zumba is the latest exercise craze, which has taken the world by storm. It fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.

Nerida Cortese, who works as a Zumba instructor says, “Feel good about yourself, spend time with friends, and raise money for a great cause – let’s Zumba!”

Grab your friends and join in the fun. The $20 entry fee all goes to Breast Cancer Research Trust. The only not-for-profit organisation in New Zealand dedicated solely to making breast cancer a survivable disease. The Trust has made a pledge to find a cure for breast cancer by 2018.

You can register online www.breastcancercure.org.nz and numbers are limited so registration is essential. The 12 cityfitness gyms throughout the country are expecting in excess of 2000 thousand people to attend for what is sure to be an energetic and memorable event.

Join the Zumba Party!
